The Gridtec Sportsfield Drainage System is designed to make fields playable after a rainfall. Upon installation, we offer a guarantee that fields will be playable within 24 hours after a 4 inch rainfall.

	Here's how it Works

The Gridtec System has two major components, sand injection and under drain piping. Each component can be installed individually or together depending on how bad the field conditions are.

The sand injection helps strengthen the root structure of the turf along with increasing drainage. There is minimal turf disturbance and will not interfere with subsurface irrigation lines.

The under drains are the second component to the system. They are installed when fields have extremely poor drainage. The pipes help collect the water channeled by the sand injection slits. The water can then be redistributed off the playing field. The picture on the right illustrates the under drain.


	Summary of the System
It is very hard for surface water to pass through natural soil. As a result an alternative route must be created. The Gridtec Drainage System can be installed on any sports field.
